Posted : 9 Feb, 2012 04:10 PM Women can't meet men needs because we are from two different planets, we don't have the same compositions, we don't think alike. No wonder most relationships don't work. Women are looking for THEIR KNIGHT AND SHINING ARMOR, men are looking for A CARE TAKER, maybe if there is an open and honest discussion before getting into relationships, it might be a place to start. Each party making their needs known and if the other party cannot meet those demands, maybe the relationship shouldn't start. Both sides play a guessing game. Do you really know what it takes to keep a man, to play his mom. What do you say? Post Reply

Posted : 9 Feb, 2012 05:43 PM There is a study I'd heard from a couple friends from church, that finds men do tend to (not always) marry one similar to their Mom and likewise, women marry one similar to their Dad... anyone else heard this? okay, i have my pencils and erasers ready ladies, enlighten us please.. lol Post Reply

Posted : 9 Feb, 2012 09:25 PM well the way i see it it takes two people trying hard to make any relationship work. ive seen a lot of relationships were after the two are married the man starts treating his wife as his care taker, giving her nothing of the companionship and effort he spent on before they were married. the man is getting his desires filled and not considering the desires his wife needs to stay happy in the relationship. where does the surpise little gift go? the i love you and hug before work? doing your share of the mess you both made? letting your wife go out with her friends for a relax and not complaining when she does? men forget about the wifes needs and just seem to be happy that their own lives are peachy. every person needs to have certain things met both emotinally and physically to be happy and both parties need to work on that. Considering the fact that we came from different backgrounds(parental upbringing), it therefore depends on the couple to try and understand each other to make their relationship work. Some men do not like ladies playing mom's role in a relationship, particularly if their mom was bossy and controlling. They'd prefer a friend that can rob minds with them, one who helps to bring out the best in them. One truth that I think would help as Christians, is for us to always put ourselves in the shoes of others before taking decisions regarding them. If we truly love as God intends, we would treat others just the way we would have them treat us if we were in their shoes. We will make bold decisions, but with LOVE. Let the Holy spirit guide you always. There is no completely perfect being yet, but God has a close match for each person. Just as our two palms have some differences, so does 'the missing rib" amongst other ribs, but it's for a unique & good purpose. Post Reply

So if a woman isn't able to fall in love with god first, then how can she fall in love with the world around us? I spend alot of time with woman that are gaining their life back. It shows me alot. I personally can't be with someone I place judgement on. A relationship isnt based on one way or another it is based on god guiding you side by side. It takes alot of respect and understanding to simply love someone. A person can't recieve fully what they are not willing to give. If someone is having a bad day where do you help? If you are struggling do you allow that person to hold you and grow closer to you? It should be a journey together, and I believe in comprimise(s/p) not change. God created us with our own purpose and he created us to walk together. The world around us has taught us different. The most amazing thing a person can ever put on is god. Just my thoughts on this topic. Post Reply
