Not everyone on this site is necessarily a Christian. The true believers like to see that in profiles. The only thing that may stick out in an "unusual way" is your occupation. "Building solid wood caskets" doesn't sound weird to me, but I'm a pretty weird person, myself. If you can ask around for your official job title, that might help it seem a little less...forgive me for saying this, "creepy" and could even lead as a good topic of conversation. Post Reply

It shows what you look like better (and you are good-looking!) and is a better first impression than a far away picture. Post Reply

Much better than the "I'm a nice guy looking for a nice Christian girl" kind of profiles I see. I'd definitely agree with using a facial close-up as your default photo. Best wishes! Post Reply
