Hello all you awesome women of God!

I want to address a situation I see repeatedly on the site.

I see you wonderful ladies of faith getting hurt time and time again by some men who label themselves as christian but their hearts are far from the Lord. I would ask of you one thing. The word says we are to keep our hearts with ALL diligence, for from them spring forth the issues of life. There is a time to share your heart but in a chatroom is not it. I would suggest to wait till you two are face to face in person to share your heart. It is much to precious of a treasure to God to waiste it on a fleeting friendship. When a heart is share there is volnerablity issues that arise and if the relationship is disolved for whatever reason it will be quite painful as most of you well know. The key is to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, which I believe is love. Not the mooshy gooey love that some get into online, but Love that is without judgement and is from the word as in 1 Cor 13. The word says faith worketh by love, then it says that faith without works is dead. How is it possible to work with someone in love when working together is not possible on the internet azt a level of intimacy required by love to grow in it? I hope that made sence......lol.

Please I beseech you wonderful woumen of faith, please keep your hearts for God, till you MEET the one God has for you to share your life with. It is quite fine for you to flirt a little and be friendly but do protect that which is precious to God. OK done. :D

Much love in Christ,

Ron

Brother Ron-

I totally agree with what you are saying here. I've found myself in that position and now....I have a different mindset. I have made up my mind that nothing and no one can distract me from the Lord. I may make friends and there are some who I may even meet. However, until I meet the man who fulfills my hearts desires, the ones that the Lord has promised, until we meet face to face and see if we're compatible and if there is chemistry, then I am not giving my heart away. The Song of Solomon says "do not awaken my love until it is ready." I don't think I'm ready. I have so many things i want to do for the Lord without distraction.

It's not that I don't want to get married and have kids, but right now, I want my focus to be on the Lord alone. Right now, HE is my heart's desire and he has freely given Himself to me:)

Ron That was wisely and beautifully put.I couldn't agree more.Sometimes though women and men are so starved of love that they are vulnerable because of it.That is when they have to be very vigilant and on guard.I hope this makes sense.Just my 5 cents worth(inflation).
