Tell us girls what you are having for dinner this evening? And do you call it dinner or supper?

The guys can join in.

I call it supper, and I made a really good salad. I put lettuce, black beans, sour cream, salsa, and cheese together on a plate, and then I broke up some tortilla chips and put them on top of the salad to add some crunch. That's all there was to it! It was delicious.

I'm fixing beef fajitas with guacamole.

I call it supper and dinner interchangeably.

And speaking of dessert.

What is fried ice cream? Anyone made or ate it? I hear it`s a southern thing.

I had fried ice cream at a mexican restaurant once. It was really, really good! I don't remember seeing it on the menu anywhere else other than at other mexican restaurants, though. And I don't know about it being a southern thing.

I call it dinner.

Dinner for me tonight was a fruit salad, a hard-boiled egg, a slice of whole wheat toast with canned pumpkin spread on it, and a glass of soy milk. That sounds like breakfast... lol...

As far as fried ice cream goes, we have it at Mexican restaurants up here, too, or, at least at one Mexican restaurant: Azteca. I'm not sure if that's a national chain or just one in the Pacific Northwest, but it's a super yummy place =) I tried the fried ice cream once, but didn't like it. I'm picky, though, so I'm probably not the best critic! =p

We call our evening meals 'tea', even if there is no such named beverage with it! Noontime meal is dinner. But that's only for the East Midlands dialect of English - our small isle has many varied accents and dialects within an hour's drive of each other!
