If she was previously married and had her kids within that relationship but divorced due to infidelity on the part of her husband then I would consider a relationship with her but I would be far more reluctant. If she had her children out of wedlock then I would most certainly not want to date her unless she had not been a Christian and now she is born again having completely changed her ways. Even then I would be very hesitant and would only date such a woman if I felt God leading me to that person. So generally no, but with a few narrow and proper exceptions. Post Reply

However, how he handled the situation would be an indicator of whether or not I would continue. I think it's a rather large responsibility but one with the utmost importance. :) Post Reply

Posted : 30 May, 2011 05:09 PM I am a single mom, and if he also wouldn't mind dating and maybe eventually getting into a serious relationship with me, then I would love to be a step mom to his kids. But I guess, he has to make sure that his children are ok with me, my son and our relationhip. Well, of course, I won't consider myself a replacement for their mom, as I never will be. For the kids, I'm sure their mom would also be first in their hearts. Post Reply

Posted : 2 Jun, 2011 12:43 AM yes i would,but i would have first to know the kid and the daddy well and see how the kid treats me,i would not want to replace anyone's mum as that's impossible but i would surely look after the kid as my own as long as the kid is okay with me,even if i love the father ,the kid would influence my decision to be in that relationship or not as i would not want to ruin any kids joy. Kids are such a joy and it is great to bring them places where they have not been and you have so that you can see it thru their eyes and you learn to appreciate things more. Post Reply
