Young partners?Posted : 12 May, 2011 01:43 PMWell, at my age, someone 100 years younger than me would still be a minor...so yeah, that would be too young. It's more than just age, and it's more than just maturity level. It also has to do with life stages, life experiences, and our future life together. |

Young partners?Posted : 12 May, 2011 01:47 PMI agree with parts of that and you mention future life together..this would include the older partner (possibly) dying earlier than the younger...Especially if it's a 10 year age gap...should this also be taken into consideration? |

Young partners?Posted : 12 May, 2011 10:29 PMThere are a lot of variables in this situation. I have dated a few guys that are 8-10 years younger and it's because many guys my age look so old and are in pretty rough shape. I like a guy that takes care of himself and exercises, eats good etc. and the younger ones seem to be better at that. |

Young partners?Posted : 14 May, 2011 07:19 AMFrom a guy's perspective, sometimes you just click better with slightly older women. I would never reject a girl my age or a little younger (well, I draw the line at college freshman. The maturity difference in a freshman and sophomore is drastic) just because I have some rule about only dating older women. It just happens that way with me usually. I've had a number of girlfriends struggle to get over the fact that I was younger, but if you click, you click. |
