26For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you are Christs, then you are Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Is this not equality and unity? Or do you men still have prejudice?

Did Paul and others not have many rebukes to Christian churches who were teaching incorrect things? Another way to promote unity is to promote correct teaching.

So your saying were not all 26For you are all (((sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.))) Even though it says we are???

27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female;

So your saying we are not all one in Christ? Even though it say we are.........

for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

So your saying we are not of Abrahams seed? Even though it says we are.........

29And if you are Christs, then you are Abrahams seed,

You are saying we are not heirs? even though it says we are..........and heirs according to the promise.

Do you believe the promise? I know I do!!!!!!!!!

Anyone here know how to rightly divide those verses that were just quoted. Do those verses speak to the roles of men in women in homes, churches, etc being done away with?

or

Do they speak to the difference between men and women under Jewish ceremonial law? For example, the requirement that males be circumcised.

What I have said was that not all people are children of Christ. If you want to make the case against that, do so with scripture. Don't post verses that agree with me.

"theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes"

Work, vote, end abuse. Those are all equality principles that Christians can get behind for women. Those were all areas where unfair inequality was being perpetuated, and feminism, especially the founding principles of feminism(kind of like the founding principles of the US), is good. Unfortunately, like many movements and principles, they are corrupted from the inside quite easily(like the principles of the constitution). Christianity is far perverted from the early church's purity, but we still call ourselves christian. Religious authority and gender specific roles are where Christians draw the line. God set up those for our protection.

I'm not sure the early church was very pure...which is why we see so many rebukes written to them in scripture. We have always been a flawed people. That's where this whole idea of grace comes in :)
