This question is very interesting. To me, it is not so much about turn offs as it is just so sad to see how worldly so many are who post their profile here on Christian sites.

I read lots od profiles, and have learned so much about myself and what being truely equally yoked is all about. I try to share truth with other I meet on these sites. To me life is not about turn offs, but about turn ons. Turning others onto Christ and true life in him, not just window dressings by posting on sites like this or or goping to church, but ones heart and values being in Christ only.

Blessings to you all

A person that absolutely needs a photo to talk to a person.

Anybody especially a dishonest person can post any one,s photo as being his own.

Another and perhaps the biggest turn-off for me is when a person has to gone on and on about their faith.

If you are true in you faith and life you will not have to overstate yout dedicate to the Lord. People will pick up on it with out you try to prove it with words. "FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD".

I think be more understanding, and patient. A man who is honest, is not afraid to express his feelings even though I know that is hard for men. Just being themselves.

write on!

I like knowing all that stuff about you...

that's why there's all kinds for all kinds.

If someone hasn't written anything, I skip over it.

For example, SnugglyBear viewed my profile

and I went to see who he is...

I think that guy is really something...

you just gotta listen to his music!

I would have to say, what I notice is seeing some one that is Example(Sitting on a cycle, being over weight) but asking for only thin petite woman to respond..Another is photographs that are not present and representing something they are not..I guess what I am saying is ,don't expect someone else to be what what you are not...Be honest..If a person doesn't care about you because you are over weight ...Move on!!!! There is someone who will except you for who you are.

Hi demar,

I do have to say amen,to pictures being posted that do not belong to the person.Being a christian site ,you would feel this would not be a problem LOL I think right now I am having the best experience writing someone with out a picture. It still boils down to trust with or without a picture Donna

:waving: I don't mind a picture of a guy WITH his pet. A picture of the pet by itself is a bit lonely, though.

I have to say I like longer profile descriptions also. It helps me to see more what I personally like. If people don't like long profiles, then they can go to someone else's. This is what it's all about, right? We know what we want, people are all individuals, don't sell yourself short because you want to be more transparent. I personally like transparent and honest. I'm the same in person; I love to listen and get to know you.

The following turns me off totally:

Physical descriptions are most important than mention of personality....I have been out with" hunks" and believe me, most are nothing to brag about!

Never mentioning Jesus, or a short testimony, church, or ministry life.

The worst is a short, or one word answers like : maybe; tell ya later or rather not say.....underselling or over selling is equally a turn off for me

I agree. Also, blurred pictures, ball caps or a big hat that causes a huge shadow -- then, to top it off SUNGLASSES. Hmmm, wonder what he looks like anyway.
