When I was dating my ex in college, for our first Valentine's Day (we had started dating the year before in March), I had a cake maker friend help me make a heart shaped cake with writing on it, a huge $10 balloon and a single red rose. When presented to him, he looked embarassed and (men can be soooo stu pid!!) actually said "why did you do this for me? I'm the man!" :MrT::boxing::dunce::toomuch: :laugh: It was always a source of contention even throughout our marriage, we couldn't ever seem to have a good V-Day, we couldn't get it together. Christmas and birthdays were great but V-Day was a no go. Okay, so since I've been divorced (4 years in November), I have dated a few guys, only one seriously. BUT I'M NEVER WITH THEM ON VALENTINE'S DAY!! What is that??????:laugh: Okay, so the question is; What is your favorite Valentine Day date, or ex-husband/wife getaway or gift given to you?
