Posted : 29 Dec, 2011 09:21 AM DKJ, If you're going to use David's relationship with Micha, then that will not work.. because that relationship was not equally yoked to start with... bad example...:laugh:... remember she was Saul's daughter that Sual gave to David, and she was very jealous of David, but her needs were met , she was not meeting her own spiritual needs, so we have already been told not to marry anyone who does not belibe in the faith as you do, therefore, why seek a person who is not a believer? And all the rest of you, who disagree with the spiritual answers and what The word says, if you already have the answers to every possible soultion that have been given and explained, that are based on what Scripures tells us. then I ask what is your problem if you already have the answers to the questions? I mean, once you are able to connect what God has already said in His Word about marriage and realtionships...God has given the answesr in His word as as been posted in Ephesians and I Timothy, and we can also in clude I Cornithans.. if you're not reading what God says, then you don't know... A relationship is based on spiritual matters that God has laid out for us to follow. Once again, if a man is taking care of the business in his relationship with God, he will have no problems in his relationship with his wife or woman meeting her needs becasue her needs are the same as his needs... Most imporatantly, if there is no trust and honesty to start the relationship it will not work. when there is no trust there is jealousy! Oh, maybe I should add that what is being spoken about spiritually, can be understood by spiritually mature adult men and women, who have already gone through an immature relationship in the past and now know and understand the importance of trust and honsety in a relationship... God requoires this in a marriage relationsship. Therefore, I ask what are the needs, YOU THINK are to be met outside of emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, and financial needs in a marriage relationship, as welll in as friendship? Whether its the needs of a man or those of a woman?... Do you personally and spiritually understand what is involved in trust and honesty that makes it the core foundation of any relationship? Posted : 29 Dec, 2011 09:34 AM and yes, girl23, your answer was soulish/worldy because it did not come from a spiritual view of you knowing what God has said in his word, and so was your response Cobble in defense of what she said.... if it is not based on what God has spoken it is worldy/carnal... The answers are in the word. And the answer to this should be according to what God says, and not our own personal opinions.. God has already given us the answers. Post Reply

In alll our decisions making process we must be guided by the Holy Spirit, He is our helper. but as long as we are doing the helpers job instead of allowing the helper to do His job, we will always be in a state of confusion. We cannot be disciples of Jesus without the guidiance of the Holy Spirit, We cannot carry the Cross of Christ in the flesh. Scott. Post Reply

I just don't feel the need to show off my religiousity by attaching Bible verses to things out of context. If all this discussion is going to be is "what to women need?" answered with the Sunday School answer of "Jesus," it's just a waste of space and patting ourselves on the back with how spiritual we are. Personally I find that a waste of time. Let's accept that "Jesus" is obviously the Christian answer to all the things and move on to what that means and actually looks like. And what that means and looks like in this context is the ability to relate to other people as actual human beings, not just a person with Bible verse Tourette's. Post Reply

Posted : 30 Dec, 2011 08:59 AM We must let the light of Christ shine through us, Christianity is not about venting our emotions but it's about faith, helping, accepting and praying for each other regardless of knowledge or position, without judging or condemning one another. We are examples to the non believers, how can we teach, preach or lead without the guidiance of the Holy, we are all imperfect, only God is perfect. AMEN. Post Reply
