Eat right, exercise, maintain proper hygiene, and if necessary take medication. But if after all that you still tip the scales way above "supermodel" then who cares? Just take care of yourself, carry yourself with grace, and people will see your inner beauty. You can be a supermodel and even then not everyone will find you gorgeous. Some men like bigger women! I had a friend in high school who was insecure because she was very curvy, but I thought she was gorgeous, and a lot prettier than many of my "normal weight" friends. She took care of herself very well. I had another friend who was huge, but she took care of herself, dressed to fit her body (let's face it, no one wants to see rolls hanging out over skinny jeans and under tube tops), wore just a little bit of makeup (enough to enhance features but still very natural looking), etc., and I thought she was gorgeous too. She also was very friendly, outgoing, kind, laughed a lot, and seemed sure of herself, so she had a lot of friends. Now, to the issue at hand. Yes, I have met someone from this site in person (and a couple others from other sites). My experience so far has been overall not positive, but that doesn't mean every guy on here is a loser. However, overeating is NOT my problem either considering I keep my calorie intake around 1200 to 1400 and my calorie burn between 1800 and 2200. I have cut back on my diet soda and am drinking more water (3 to 4 liters a day) however... my scale has only dropped 6 pounds in the last 8 months. So... I'm at a loss (and unfortunetly it isn't in the weight department). As for the topic of meeting anyone from this site... I can't say I've had any luck here. I haven't had much luck with any of the sites I've been on however, I did meet one person from a different site just this past Saturday. We've been talking on the phone and texting for a couple months and our first meeting face to face went well. He has concerns about attempting anything more than friendship due to a 3 hours drive distance between us and our differing schedules right now. We have decided to be friends for now and if things change in the future so be it. He didn't have any complaints about my size... however when we hugged at the end of the day he mentioned how strong I was... (not sure if that's a good or bad thing lol). But hey... my truck has broke down on me 4 times this year and I've gotten use to having to push it out of the line of traffic or into a position to be picked up by the tow-truck. *shrug* Post Reply

As for womein with weight issues, it is sad that no matter what the reason...people don't look at someone's heart...just the outside appearance...I'm overweight but I'm happy with myself and I know I'm a good person..I also have an issue iwth my eye but I'm thankful I can see...most of all MY HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES ME JUST THE WAY HE MADE ME!!!:applause: Post Reply

We chatted on line and over the phone for about one year. Finally he came over 2007 and he spent 3 months with me and my children. One day before my birthday he left back home in US. While he was here, we translated all his documents for getting married, one left paper was needed from the embassy to prove he wasn't married. So all these were not an issue at all. We lived a nice love story which none of us thought will ever end. He didn't want to leave without me but he made the promise to his son to be there for the Christmas time. We kept in touch like before but with the happiness for meeting in real already. After a couple of months, he told me over the phone something that he was hiding from me....nothing so bad, just a different belief. He said that because I CAN NOT BELIEVE with him, he can not call me back again. I will always remember our first meeting at the airport, I hope He is all right and God will always be there for him. I don't know how you, still in your 20's seeing all these, but as me in 40's i am more prudent if i want someone again into my life. As every single one here is "a good person" ( but still here and still single) may God help everyone to be ready for what He has for each of us ....be ready to receive... ! God bless !
