Posted : 12 Feb, 2011 01:44 AM Hi there, For me its when the the bit about me in their profile is as long as ' War & Peace part 1 and 2 !! LOL The ones where you get 3 Sunday sermons in it.....and when their requirements of a partner describe something from the red carpet at the oscars when they look lke theyve been dragged through a hedge backwards ( you get my drift) And the ones who take themselves really serious....Humour is the best turn on for me....personally, and nice short and honest profiles....but thats just me.... Posted : 13 Feb, 2011 11:14 AM For me personally, some of the biggest turn-offs are: shirtless photos, no smile, bragging, poor grammar, very little profile information, no mention of a walk with God or how important God is in his life, posting too many photos of material posessions, age parameters waaay younger than he is, and rudeness. I think the ladies here pretty well nailed it! I also dislike the "wink" feature....I do not like recieving winks only to go to a person's profile where there is NO info...so I have it listed in my profile that I do not even respond to winks. I think it takes some thought to send a nice first email, rather than just a quick "wink." That is just my personal preference and opinion. Post Reply

Posted : 14 Feb, 2011 10:09 AM I wouldn't take it down, but I would put a little explanation in your profile section like "the one of me in front of the trucks is to show you my line of work." Or something on that order. I like to know what a picture like that is about. I've seen guys put an explanation about pics with more than one person in them and which one they are and the woman is a sister, aunt, mom, etc. Otherwise, we women think it's an old girlfriend and that ain't kewl. :laugh: Post Reply

Posted : 16 Feb, 2011 09:34 PM The biggest turn-off for me would be a person's number of favorites and then he is looking for marriage or long term relationship, some have like 30 and up number of people who have added them in their favorites list and i'm thinking like what is he doing with all those, if he is looking for a friend or e-mail buddy i think that will be just fine.
