True Virginity: "a woman who has not known a man" in the Biblical sense -like Rebekah for Isaac. I understand that people make mistakes, and we ask for forgiveness, and like to redefine or re-categorize virginity into "second virginity" or "new creature" etc. This is not what the topic is about, so please stay on topic. But I made up my mind about it back when I was 15, before I ever knew God, my thoughts about it were not the same back then but God has brought me into agreement since I've come to know Him. Its been a long wait and it'll probably go on even longer. I want someone that has also been waiting. If premarital sex wasn't so rampant divorce rates would be lower because there would be fewer couples who are wrong for each other being fooled into thinking their in love and getting married from the bond sex creates. And breaking up wouldn't be anywhere Near as bad for couples if they weren't having sex. The bond gets torn apart and then both people are in a deep depression for months, sometimes years, and then their desensitized and jaded from that and can't form as close a bond as before because its been torn up so many times. The the bond and intimacy sex creates was only designed for married couples who God designed and brought together. And when its shared between two people who have only had it with each other, without past baggage or comparing past experiences. The marriage is that much more secure and better off and *Amazing* when everything else is in order with God in the middle of it. The way the 'world' has set itself up, on satans lies about sex. its nothing but a cheap shadow compared to how God intended it to be. And if you wait on His timing. It Will be well worth it. So to the other people waiting. Hang in there. When you pray for a spouse, remind God of His promises as you do. He impressed on me that is what He prefers. God bless. Post Reply

Even virginity isn't really important anymore for the world, but God strongly said that it's really important. All of us only have 1 Virginity in our life time, once we've lost it, we'll never get it back. So, this is what God wants: He wants us to treat our virginity as a precious gift that we have to save cautiously & present it to our future husband / wife in our Christ-centered marriage. I'm too sure God will be glorified in our marriage if we commit to ourselves to do this ^___^ A Christ-centered relationship that waits faithfully & bravely to say "NO" to sex before marriage will result a blissful family which always be filled by God's blessing. I've seen that happened to some families who had done this in their relationship. Keep strong in our faith, I know it won't be easy for us to stand alone & defeat all the world's attractions, but please remember that God is on our side, what can bring us down? NOTHING!!! Stay close with the community that will bring us closer to God, too.. Have a blessed life, everyone!! Post Reply
