Women having handbooks?

Do women have handbooks?  I was told by one she was giving me one on how to handle her, meaning how I need to act to be with her. I reserve sarcasm here. I didn't think any lady had a handbook and have a few thoughts and would like opinions. I think she meant it was a nice gesture and i appreciate it, but then again... Here's my thoughts:

She likes me and is telling me she wants me to be the one because she has, but also said she won't change

Which means i have to acquiesce when she keeps telling me I could be "the one" if i change?

By giving me a "guide" is she telling me how its gonna be and i have to go by her book, meaning she's controlling?

She's a conceited flake

All the above

A husband is not just a Boss over a wife.

You're right moonbeam. One of the jobs of a husband is to be the boss of his wife. As far as what the person you quoted wrote. Some of it isn't scriptural and just someones interpretation so I choose disregard it.

True, "Many do not know the Bible."

" Every Christian woman's first allegiance is to Christ:"

Yes and no.

“We must obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29).

God has put the husband over his wife so obeying her husband is obeying God.

"This includes the cultivation of intimacy with Christ, attending church, and seeking out meaningful biblical community. "A husband has no right to dictate his wife’s relationship with Christ."

Everything quoted above is still under the directive of a woman's husband.

" When His Leadership Would Violate Her Conscience."

Not scriptural.

"Jesus wants us to be able to "not pass judgment on ourselves" for what we do (Romans 14:22-23). "

Unsure what this has to do with what's below.

"Specifically what I have in mind here is sexual (as many husbands may have sexual desires and expectations, even within their marriage, that are not necessarily sinful, but nonetheless make their wives uncomfortable), but there may be other instances (alcohol consumption, for example) in which a wife's conscience will need to be taken seriously."

Still not scriptural

The rest of what was quoted by you appears to be several scriptures thrown together which at best only loosely back up some of what was quoted.

But it all proves that God put men above women in-order to keep them from falling prey to disinformation and misinformation which you so readily do..

Exodus 1:17

The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. (Exodus 1:17)

And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own. (Exodus 1:21)

Abuse is a misfortune, and it is a good reason to not marry in the first place.

No one is more abused than an unborn child.

Other than that, men are more abused than ever.

There are many abuses by government and there are too many abuses by women.

Women are not angels these days.

They strive to appear as an angel of light,

but there is a lot of darkness in hearts.

That is why it is good not to marry. Too much darkness.

Yep! There are places where one should disobey.

The Bible gives several.

Other than that, a woman should fulfill her duties to a man.

If you want to separate, go ahead and separate.

But the Bible instruction is clear.

1 Corinthians 7:10-11 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

You know what the scriptures say.

You are finding justifications for divorce that scripture never gives.

You are very familiar with scripture. But you disregard many verses.

It is like Catholics practicing annulment in place of divorce.

Call it by another name and some how it is different.

Scripture is very plain.

Not many places where scripture is not plain.

So, then we go to human invention to get around scripture.

Where does it end when a woman decides she rules and not to be submissive to a husband?

Everything becomes her choice.

The husband has no rights.

Woman has the right to choose.

One of the greatest sins of the last century.

Much damage has been done by the Feminist Movement.

It has infiltrated society and polluted society to the extent

that everything is bad now.
