I seem to come across an awful load of frauds !!! In fact , there are more scammers than decent honest well-intentioned members here . The bad are causing the good to deport /abandon it . The only men that contact me,( or even seem to be active on here) , are scams . Mainly they are men claiming to reside in the U.S. , but are foreign origins . There are many red flags , and it soon becomes obvious to me that they are ''marriage'' shopping quickly for citizenship . An I am sure all a woman is worth $$$ as well . I have even been convinced that in at least one of the cases , the guy likely had a wife already in his homeland . His phone # exchange was here in America , but that actually doesn't prove he is really living here currently and more importantly what his motives are for pursuing a marriage so fast . Sometimes they have expressed to me a preference for white women and maybe they do like that , but still have the evil agenda . Perhaps that is part of the hidden plan , lure us by flattery . These are the only men that hover over this site , I am discovering . I think I have been sought out because I am in my 30's & seeking marriage , although they might view me as ''old & desperate'' . Not the case , I am strong , smart , and single by choice . This site is over-run with scammers and I wanted to know what other women thought ??? I noticed there aren't any current posts regarding this serious issue when it's saturated the site . Are people pretending this is still a respectable site ? What else is disturbing is that I report such filth but nothing is ever done about these men and they just remain on here being allowed to potentially victimise more weaker & vulnerable people .Lonely members with hopes for love & acceptance . I did see other members be removed before , but never ones that I report personally . The impression I am getting is that I am being ignored , and /or if there is monitoring they rarely boot criminals . Very troubling indeed !!! I am going to leave this site for good . I just felt to post a final message to see if any other women respond and what they think ? Have any of you experienced the same with predators bothering you , scammers messaging you ??? Like I said , I hear from ones that seem to be after citizenship through marriage , trying to use an American for that purpose to their needs . I have never out-right been asked for money because they are more clever than that . Although I realize that is a part of the scam , they are entitled to your assets if you are foolish enough to marry without any pre-cautions . My warning to people & esp. more vulnerable ,lonely members & women , be VERY picky in whom you interact with on this site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try and keep it local if that is possible . I only deal with Americans now , and even they can be users & jerks so the narrowing down continues . Not many locally and unfortunately this site is World-wide opening too many doors in my opinion.I did have a lovely pen-pal from Sweden here , who is a doll . He was nothing but kind & my friend , truly . He is the only foreign person however , that was ever trustworthy and genuine , sincere towards me . Happy I came across him here , even though a relationship is not possible . The scam men have come from Iran , Eastern Europe such as Albania , at least this is what I encountered .Yet they reside here in the U.S. , (some of them do). I am guessing their visa expired , they are over-staying , not in a good position and afraid of being deported . They won't waste any second of their time on you , if you give them reason to think you are not marriage serious because they are on a mission and must hurry that up so they tend to rush you. I had this mistreatemtn done to me but being a suspicious person in my nature , stopped it before it could even begin .Scammers I would think typically come from the poorer regions of the World . Ladies , thoughts /opinions /experiences???

I dont wanna be offending but i dont think that you nor anybody else has the right or will ever have the right to say something like that..not because im living in a foreign country and find it kinda discriminating to read something like that about non-americans,i think its simply wrong to think in nationalities/ethnicities, you can not blame a whole country or an entire continent for sum few ppl from it have personally done to you,thats where rassism and the whole discrimination towards certain nationalities starts at....how would you feel if you would hear ppl from other countries talking about you like that,saying all americans r fat,lazy and stupid for example? I understand that you was prolly mad about the scamming problem on here when you wrote that and im not saying thats not true,but being foreign does not automaticly makes you an unloyal and selfish scammer.....and yeah just to get back to your topic real quick,i dont think that most ppl on here are scammers,maybe 1 from 50 msgs is coming from a scammer,but thats just my personal expirience on here,99% ppl i met here were actually really nice and helped me a lot everytime i had a question about religion etc and i am glad that i met them
Actually my ancestry is much like Apostelle's is. In fact, considering the location he gave we might be related. I wish I were not from this country at times though especially lately. I'm ashamed of all the bad things my nation is doing around the world. Talk about living a double life. In fact I would like to marry a foreigner myself.
Not everyone who marries an American does it solely for the citizenship, in fact that is probably a very small minority. Did you consider the possibility that some people just find Americans attractive in general? There is a video on youtube by a guy who lives in the Philippines and he asks a bunch of girls and guys on the street who they think is more attractive, Americans, Europeans or Filipinas. They all say Americans are more attractive. Sure that is a broad generalization but I don't think I was the first to make a broad general statement in this thread . . .
Another thing, do you think that citizenship could just be a secondary motive? In other words they're looking for love, AND citizenship, which is why they are looking for American girls? The simple fact is this site is for mutual fellowship friendship and dating. They are seeking a romantic relationship therefore the administrators clear their profiles. They don't care if part of their motive may be seeking citizenship, they only care about if they are using this site as it was intended. Since they are using it to find a romantic relationship there is no way to determine their exact motives without talking to them, which is what you do. They are using it for what it was made for, so they are not a scammer in anyone's eyes but your own.
Although I travel a lot, now live in Eastern Europe. I think this part of Europe is not very attractive for citizenship or obtain something else. Even if Im from �poorer regions of the World�as you say I received a lot of emails from men. Every day, checking emails and those who looked through me. It was very difficult to choose those who are serious. These were not the only people from the Philippines, Nigeria and India. As well a lot of letters comes from Americans. And I can not say that all Americans write with good intentions.. And it was simply impossible to understand who is serious or not.
I'm quite disappointed of this site. Ticked not to show when I'm online. Made age limit. now I'm not getting less letters. But I agree with you that the administration has to do something with people who are looking for something other than love..
@1mountain Its very possible that we are related. The main states of entry for my ancestors were Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. (One branch did go first to Pennsylvania. Was on the boat with William Penn).
I have also thought seriously about finding a foreign wife. American women are just no longer appealing. It seems that most have the morals of alley cats.
Apostelle, as an American who has an American sister and attends church with good Christian American ladies, I find your last statement quite offensive.
I have to agree with Magdalena80 as I have had so many guys banned in my inbox. Some seem so genuine and I take the time to answer, only to find they have been banned. I have 14 men on my inbox and 6 have been banned, 4 I sent and automatic message to say I'm not interested and the remaining 4, 3 don't talk to me any more, not sure why as none of them give a reason and 1 I am talking to but I suspect he is a scammer. I have decided to keep the messaged to remind myself to be careful. But try as I do they still seem to be able to spin a line.
Magdalena80 is right on every count as far as I can tell. I'm not impressed with this site either but hey you gotta believe there are some genuine guys out there. I know it takes a lot of time to sift through the people who are scammers or not but I find I have to stay positive and keep trying. I have tried other sites where you have to pay and they are no different. They have the same old scenario as this site. Maybe not so many scammers but still have to do the sifting and deciding weather or not to continue with communication.
Although I haven't had the best response on here I don't want to get bitter and I choose to move on. So I have come to the conclusion that I will stay on this site and be positive about trying to find love here. I socialise quite a lot to and I might even find someone in the real world. lol.
I wasnt talking about portrayals of American women in movies Hoosier. I was talking about the real life experiences Ive had with American women. Most of whom seem more interested in the content of your bank account than the content of your heart and your relationship with God.
One woman actually told me "Well, Ive sown my wild oats. Im 35 and now its time to find a nice Christian guy to take care of me. How much money do you make?"
Well, that sort of woman is trouble with a capital "T". And I have no doubt those are not difficult to find. I've just known enough good Christian women or even reasonably decent non-christian American women that I'm unwilling to write off all my country-women!
Now ... fewer of those are still single into their 30's ... so it will take some hunting.
True. Very few decent unmarried women in their 30's. Then, add to that:
1. I have never been married so no children. I do want children and most unmarried women do not want to start a family when they are in their 30's.
2. I will not court or marry a divorced woman. While they may have divorced because their husbands broke the marriage vows and committed adultery, how do you really know?
3. While many people profess to be Christians, how many actually live their lives as Christians? While I know that God forgives all but one sin, I also know that even if they have been forgiven, sin has consequences. Did you know that most people with an STD dont know they are infected?
It is this knowledge that has given me a negative view of dating, and of dating American women in particular because of America's immoral society.
