Posted : 29 Apr, 2011 04:40 PM Shame on me I guess for not watching, considering they will be my king and queen one day (though the title is about the only thing the position really offers). I did see snippets whilst onboard the ferry and I really wish them the best because that family has had it's fair share of trouble and strife, and because we (the UK) need something to help restore our faith in marriage as a concept after things like McCartney vs. Mills I also thought the kiss, or at least the one I saw, on the balcony of Buckingham palace was nice, but one of the teens hanging around the screen said she kissed him with her eyes open and I noticed it was him reaching for her hand as they went back inside... Regarding the whole America/England thing, there's both sets of opinions on both sides of the pond, and opinions do change over time - mine certainly did! Post Reply

View Profile History	Royal Wedding. Posted : 30 Apr, 2011 12:47 PM Loved the hats! So happy for the couple.... and I'm also glad it is over. Way, way too much coverage of the whole thing while there is so much else going on in the world. The coverage could have been cut in half, in my opinion. Loved the dress and veil. Almost just exactly what I would like. Except the dress would be knee-length (no train), there would be no tiara, and the veil would be shorter. Post Reply
