Sure, my studies consume a lot of my time and I do enjoy learning new things. But to say that I would rather be studying than say hanging out with friends is just not true. Post Reply

Posted : 12 Apr, 2011 01:48 PM According to some people I can come off as a control freak or a "know-it-all" . . . at least that's what one of my ex's thought about me (did not meet her here) :rolleyes: For the record . . . I am pretty laid back when it comes to non-serious issues. The little things are just not worth getting all worked up over. I do believe it is the husband's role in a marriage relationship to be the leader and that the wife has a separate but equally important role. It is not my desire to control anyone, I would want to marry a Christian woman who was willing to submit in a marriage relationship as I submit myself to her as a servant-leader and we both submit ourselves unto God. And I am far from a know-it-all because only God knows it all! Knowing that I am far from perfect, if I ever do come off that way or have other issues please feel free to keep me accountable here on the forums. :) Post Reply

Posted : 12 Apr, 2011 05:16 PM Hmm well there are two main misconceptions about me, the first is from people who haven't met me yet...they think I'm stuck up. When they finally meet me they'll tell me their first thoughts of me,then explain how I'm nothing like they thought. The second and most common misconception about me is that I'm not serious. :( lol Post Reply

Posted : 13 Apr, 2011 11:09 PM People tend to think of me as a snob, but I'm just shy and careful with becoming vulnerable with people. People think I know more than I do. I'm always getting asked for advice that I simply just don't have the answers/wisdom for. A lot of people say that they were intimidated by me at first. I have no idea why, because I'm not even remotely intimidating. People think I've dated a ton and that I have loose morals. This couldn't be further from the truth. I've hardly dated at all and I'm fairly "prudish" when it comes to things such as physical intimacy outside of marriage. People think I'm liberal, which I'm NOT. I'm VERY conservative... one of the most conservative people I know, actually. Post Reply
