Posted : 5 Feb, 2011 06:01 PM This is probably a question that has been asked before, but I was just curious to hear what some young godly women have to say about the topic. Here's why I ask: Over the course of maybe 8 months or so I have met several very attractive females (in person) and it never goes further than just being an acquaintance. I hear from many people from my work and church that tell me things like I'm a nice guy, and someone would be lucky to have me... That kind of stuff. Therefore I wonder if it's my looks that turn a girl off? So do they matter? If so in what kind of way? Explain. Post Reply

How does he appear when we meet? How does he treat me and others we come in contact with? How are his manners? Besides, my beloved will be the most attractive, handsome, best-looking guy to me...no matter WHAT he looks like! "Grass withers, and flowers fade..." to borrow scripture. Post Reply

Posted : 12 Feb, 2011 01:55 AM Hi there, The answer is definitely NO here....BUT....the problem is...that I think its looks that initally attract. The internet gives us a good chance to get to know someone above the looks....to get to know them...inside...but I will be honest with you here,....I prefer to chat to someone who has a photo... On saying that once I get to know someone and their beauty shines from within ,,,they automatically look lovely on the outer I cannot see that it is your looks that is letting you down here....but maybe you need to ask these women where you are going wrong....but BE PREPARED for the answer LOL...we can be ruthless at times.... :boxing: Regards Lucy X Post Reply

The most important thing should be what is on the inside. If a person has a beautiful personality then they are even more beautiful on the outside. Remember though, we are all children of God and he created us in his own image and likeness. God loves and accepts us all for who we are and we are taught to love one another as God loves us. We cannot truly love someone based soley on what he/she looks like. :rolleyes: Post Reply
