My question is based on an experience i had about 7 years ago. What happened was that me & a girl from my church from my neighbourhood at the time was regularly hanging with a with a couple of unsaved guys in neigbourhood at the time.On one particular night, we were discussing the Bible and then talked about fonication.Me & the girl from church were aguguing that the "Bible did talk about it but there is nothing wrong with having sex before marrage. That way, you will know what to do when your'e married". After this, she was then later had been baptised at church and have "seemed to be changed " at the time.Long story short, she was with a boyfriend at the time before her baptisim & around 3 years later, she returned back to him and which i believe because of his money & his "hot rod car" & went back being the same way she was before. My question concerning this is what is your opinions on this ungodly belief coming into the church? What are your views on fornication? I welcomed any quotaions from the Bible also.:waving:

Regarding the appropriate age at which to explain things to children, I think it depends on the situation and the child. It's not a good idea to tell a child too much too early, but waiting too long is also dangerous.

I have a close friend who, when she was 19, asked me what I knew about sex and birth control. I was floored when I found out that her mom wouldn't even have one conversation with her on that topic. This girl was engaged! Thank goodness her future mother-in-law figured out that there was a problem and had a long talk with her BEFORE the wedding!

Birth control and such probably isn't the best conversation to be having on a public forum like this. I will give a very general idea of what I personally believe, though.

Abortions are wrong. Period. Abortifacients (such as the morning after pill) are wrong. Period.

There is a lot of debate about using "the pill". It CAN, in a small percentage of cases, cause an early term abortion. Supposedly, though, some of the newer pills (as well as the 3-month shot) are quite a bit safer and not as likely to cause an early term abortion. I personally am still undecided about these methods.

Barrier methods are usually the safest, both morally and health-wise.

Natural methods are, quite honestly, unreliable. Only rely on them if you really don't mind having a child in 9 months!
