We should be looking out for one another, not just be in it for ourselves. I like that--yes yes amen:applause: It is sad the way things are sometimes..besides I know what the poster is saying I just experienced the same sort of deal-but I think mine was over doctrine *sighs* and I did not even get a goodbye pfftt!! View Profile History	????? Posted : 14 Oct, 2010 06:30 AM Stormy -- its hard to say exactly, but I would guess that woman did not want someone who was sweet and nice and good with kids. I am just guessing here, mind you, but it could be she was first attracted to you by those characteristics because..... well -- they are attractive. But her own personality and possibly sliding Christian character made her too restless to be with someone like that. She needed someone more --- on the edge. Less of a solid Christian. Less of a good father or a man who is kind and generous. She wanted someone who did not treat her that well. Which she could not come out and SAY to you (even if she fully realized that is what was going on). So she gave you the compliments that were honest and that drew her to begin with, but then ended it with something lame and general. Just my take -- the others gave good advice also. Post Reply

It really isn�t any different than when a woman tells you that she can�t go out with you because she is too busy. Really? Too busy to out to lunch with me after church? You�re Baptist! You are going to the steak house after church anyways! What do you mean you don�t have the time? Like I�m never going to figure out that she�s not interested in me. I think that line of, �Your nice, sweet, kind, fun to be around� is no different. They don�t really mean it, it�s just something to say in hopes that you will just go away. Either way, she is not into you. It would just be nice if people were more honest. Post Reply
