Posted : 4 Oct, 2010 10:43 PM Webster defines 'to flirt' as 1: to move erratically : flit 2a : to behave amorously without serious intent 2b : to show superficial or casual interest or liking ; also : experiment 3: to come close to reaching or experiencing something �used with with LOL..I think it's okay for Christian women to move erratically as long as they're not under the influence. If it's a physical problem, beyond their control, perhaps they should see a doctor...:ROFL: Seriously...how do y'all define flirting? If it's 2a, then one might be flirting with danger if their behaving amorously with someone other than their husband...whether the intent is serious or not. If it's 2b, then, by definition, to show superficial or casual interest in someone means absolutely nothing...one could flirt with someone they have absolutely no romantic interest in whatsoever. I think, to seriously answer this question, we all need to be on the same page as to what we think flirting really is. Post Reply

Posted : 4 Oct, 2010 10:56 PM Well I guess I didn't know what flirting was, or how it was/is originally defined Im assuming most people are thinking of defintions 2a and 2b as would/will I I believe some point in time we have all flirted just to gain the attention of another for the sake of making ourselves feel better which is wrong. I think showing casual interest is ok, but if I do so I am marriage minded, which is to say I dont want to flirt date court a woman i wouldnt consider marrying. If a woman shows me casual interest I know she is possible interested. Caution is urged its easy to try to see how close we can get to the flames, just to have the flame leap out and burn us. Posted : 4 Oct, 2010 11:00 PM To me, flirting means obviously expressing romantic interest to someone of the opposite sex... things such as: x Asking him what his favourite colour is and then wearing it the next time you see him. x Leaving him a note saying that you enjoy him (like in his Bible or textbook or on his Facebook wall or something). x Making eye contact, holding it for several seconds with a smile on your face, and then looking away shyly. x Asking him what his favourite baked good is and then making it for him. I have other ways of flirting but don't want to give away all of my secrets! =P Post Reply
