When God plans, He prepares all things. I believe He had prepared both the heart of Isaac and Rebecca to love each other before He even met them. Post Reply

Posted : 7 Sep, 2010 02:31 PM A few couples in the Bible have IMO been joined by GOD...We don't always GET what we Want...but...Always GET what We Need...at that moment in our lives...God proves this over and over again through the course of history in the Bible... IMO...Life is truely a Journey... and sometimes the people that come into our lives as a Relationship or even a Friendship are most often for God's purpose...even though we might not think so... I've learned through the years that just because I think someone would be perfect for me and I for them...well...lets just say...I've learned the hard way what I really want and need in a relationship...wont be lowering those standards...as ET/Ella would say...why settle for Bread Crumbs just to say I have Bread...We ALL deserve the Best... So for me...Its not about what he looks like...the car he drives or the $$$ in his bank account...its about the inner stuffing of the person...and I do Trust Completely in God knowing what is Best for me...So...I leave that trust in His hands and keep doin the do...God always lets me know...Yea or Nay...xo Post Reply

View Profile History	the guy God has for you... Posted : 8 Sep, 2010 11:54 PM In my life, God creates the path. I either make it harder or easier. When I'm open to what God wants rather than what I want, it hits me in the head like a 2x4 until I get it. So in the context of the man God wants for me, he will put him in my life over and over until I get it. This man won't be the "best", but will be just what I need for what and where God wants my life to go. Anything else is of my doing and usually a mistake. We either choose into what God has for us, or keep on trudging through being misled in many ways. Post Reply

Could it be that if we do not choose the right path god will not bless us with the good things he has in store, i.e. "a chance meeting"? or do u believe that the oppertunity will always be there? btw some good staments, and insight thanx :) Post Reply

Posted : 9 Sep, 2010 01:06 AM I wrote to this post before then my phone restarted and erased all my writings ack lol I agree with Whitecar, our definiton of best sometimes are not the same with His definition of best. I'm just gonna throw some thoughts (or verses) on your last comment (maybe you were referring to the 5 fool brides and 5 smart brides?). Yes it is, our chances (at all life aspects) depend on our responses. Like Saul, he was God's first choice. If he did repent of his sin and set his heart right, I doubt that God would replace his position as the king, David sinned as well but when David repented God did not replace his position as the king. Saul and David both had sinned but they had different responses which made them faced different chances. And, God looks at heart (1Samuel16:7), God understands that we are not perfect and would never be, He only hopes for us letting Him to be God and King of our life since He knows it very well, that, we screw alot lol, let Him help us stop screwing around haha Ruth, if she did not choose to worship the God of Orpah, she would never meet Boaz and would never have that happily ever after and her name mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus. Posted : 9 Sep, 2010 09:22 AM I knew lady who ended up being single well into her fifties... she told a story about when she was young and wanted to get married. One guy asked her to marry him and she took some time to think... she remembers very clearly that God said Yes to her, that he would bless there marriage and it would be good. God also said though that she has a choice... she could say yes but she could say no. In the end she said no... and has never regretted her decision. I do not believe there is just one person out there. I do believe that there is just "one" best. I believe we have choices. I do believe that I could be married to almost anyone and choose to make it work. Love is a choice!! Sometimes I think we complicate things... Post Reply
