Why do so many women ignore private messages? I have sent many polite, thoughtful messages to women on this site. and 95% have ignored my messages. Anyone have an idea as to why? Someone kept sending me poems, which I ignored. Finally was convicted (from reading in the forums) that it was rude not to respond. So I did, in what I thought was an abundantly polite way. Well, I was blown away by the most incredibly rude response, informing me that I was arrogant and stupid to think he was wanting some sort of relationship, and a look in the mirror should have told me that, and no wonder I'm single, and I have no Christian love or kindness, and blah blah blah... So if someone ignores your message, please don't assume they are just being rude, or that there is something wrong with you. Judging people's motives and reactions is hard enough to do face-to-face, let alone on i-net. Post Reply
