Posted : 8 Feb, 2010 10:30 AM for real. why assume it's going to be down? that's like me assuming it's always going to be up, start and be like 'oh dangit, she left the seat down again!' i have this little trick i do where first i CHECK to see if the seat is up or down AND THEN proceed. it's kinda crazy, but it works. Posted : 9 Feb, 2010 04:30 PM lol. well, the correct answer to that issue is: to each their own. basically it's decided by whoever's will is stronger. the arguement over up or down just gets so ridiculous, which is why i tried to hold my tongue, but growing up with me and my brother as the only guys and years of hearing about it makes just makes it difficult to do so whenever this topic is brought up :laugh: Post Reply

Posted : 26 Feb, 2010 10:52 PM on dating sites: 1.) posting pics of a child... to us ladies (many of us are moms) it is an understood thing that anyone in the world can view them and even copy and keep the pics. Allso, this makes them look like they may be using the kid to give the appearance of a great dad and caring guy. We realize most guys don't go around having pics taken of themselves all the time, and those may be the only pics they have, but they can at least photoshop the babies out before posting. I won't even look at his profile. 2.) posting pics of them trying to look like a a stud muffin...topless, muscle flexing, mean or serious expressions, posing in a certain way to show off certain bodily features, doing various sporting events, etc...ew! 3.) posting pics which are clearly outdated (like from high school or college) that is just not cool and dishonest. We can usually tell when guys do it and it is a huge turn off. 4.) posting pics to show off how much $ they make, like vehicles, houses, etc...eye roll! 5.) posting pics of you with your ex! She may or not be cut. photoshopped, cropped, black bar over the eyesed, or whatever, but it is just tasteless. It makes you look like you are a jerk. If that is the only pic you have, do a great photoshop job on it and then post it. 6.) saying negative things in profiles like "tired of fake people!" or "no drama queens!" or "are there any honest women out there?!" All this stuff makes you sound like you have an axe to grind and should be avoided. 7.) showboating on profiles---in great physical shape, working out all the time is important to me, I have a great education, I am the best catch on this site.....posting many posed pics of yourself in different outfits,--come across very arrogant and high maintenance. 8.) poor spelling and grammar. It may sound silly, but we notice, and we like smart guys. Post Reply
