Posted : 24 Nov, 2009 03:27 PM why are women so wary of men who manage to be handsome, dress well, polite, and/or witty? u assume that we can have any women we want so thinking that we're dogs.... thats not true at all, at least not for me and prob most guys. what shall i do? dress down and stop taking care of myself..lol. it seems like alot of average joes got some beautiful babe. my ex wife of 11 yrs only dates super average guys. and she is extremely drop dead gorgeous. ok ok, i know that its not suppose to matter but deep down inside, it does play a role in all of us...... Everyone has their idea of what the perfect (spouse/mate/companion/ friend whatever you wish to refer to them as ) person for them will be. I have to admit my husband was chosen due to his style, attitude, and of course looks. But that was 20+ years ago. Now that I am a born again Pentecostal and as I consider starting to date again and go down that road>>> UGGGHHHH... I am searching in a completely different way. I am waiting on the Holy Spirit to guide me... If the Holy Spirit doesn't react neither do I. If you are looking for your mate through Jesus's eyes then you won't have to worry about what the other person is thinking. If it is God then it is done. Posted : 2 Dec, 2009 07:52 AM KIM, u are so right. those are the foundations that we as christians should be set on top of and yet we forget and tend to do things on our own and maybe even in a little worldly style. why else would anybody want something that was not giving by God. and if God give it, then it dont matter what the book cover looks like huh. thank uu kim, i think u made a very well point... and RIVEROFLIFE, i didnt forget about uu , lots of good words. i think that maybe my ex was one of the ones that lived in the cheating or cheated on pass cause it makes sense. and ur right, the average joe is jealous, well once they got their hands on goods like that, lol, thier not tryin to let it go... just being silly:laugh: and ARCH, latin love, lol, too funny.
