Separated women from the PhillipinesPosted : 28 Sep, 2015 11:23 PMSeparation more so a legal separation does not allow a Filipino citizen to remarry. Legal separation is only 'separation bed and board' (mensa et thoro) and liquidation of properties for grounds specified under the family code. In the eyes of the law, that person is still legally married. Only an annulment or declaration of nullity can allow a filipino citizen to remarry. Be careful of the criminal and civil consequences in dealing with a married person. It's hard to type on my cellphone. Haha - Ms. Ll.B |
