Admin	Dressing in dresses instead of jeans and leggings Posted : 28 Jul, 2013 07:23 PM In a world we live in, where sex is highly in work... what do women think about sacrificing, the tight wear for something more modest... wht's the oppostion that comes from a womens perspective for it?... and why resist if it's something that would promote a healthier ienviroment and be more pleasing to the Lord?....something that came to my mind with it before... is when Jesus sad whoever looks at a women to lust after her has committed adultery in his heart... the thing about, how woman can dress can play a part in it.... what's your thought about it? and if you wouldn't switch because of that ...would you switch because your husband in te future wanted you to? But I have to also say that the Holy Spirit will, can deal with this issue as well. I simply don't wear some of things I used to because I don't want to anymore, its not important anymore. But..some new fashions I do like and I am stylish. Your questions were good one!!! Post Reply

I agree that modesty can also be stylish. I have never dressed in trousers or leggings but wherever i go people see me as very smart and thats what i believe-that am very smart even though i dress in long or moderate skirts/dresses. A lady cannot dress in a miniskirt and talk gospel and expect people to see the glory of God in her. Post Reply

Not that we are not interested in a womans heart but a womans outward tells us how not how much god cares for her but how much she cares for her self. We as men want our ladies to care for their selves. At least us secure men do. Insecure men probally not so much because they would be fearful of loosing their lady to another. Us secure men want to encourage more self care of our women because we know how important a woman feels about her self is to her. In doing so we are caring for her. I am not saying she has to become a beauty queen. Their is another aspect to a womans care of her self for us men. You know a woman who is newly dating puts on her best face in most cases. A woman who is feeling loved cares and makes her self attractive. This is a barometer for us men in knowing if we are suceeding in loving our woman. Post Reply

There is a scene in that move where she is wearing a dress, and walks across a subway grate that pushes air up, causing her skirt to raise up and expose her underwear. So, wearing a skirt or dress can still be quite revealilng, regardless of whether the woman is trying to be modest or not. No matter what women wear, men will always lust for us simply because we are female. It's the porn industry that has taken away the mystery of a woman's body in a man's mind. He knows what she looks like under her clothing already. Don't blame women for the sin in men's hearts and minds. Just saying. --Cat Post Reply
