Posted : 14 Jun, 2011 04:33 PM I expect to do most of the cooking when I'm married, since I can cook and would (I hope) be assuming the role of "homemaker", but it would be awesome if my husband could cook the occasional meal too. And if he's a good cook, even better!!! I can think of several instances when a husband might need to be able to cook. For example, if the wife is very sick, she might not feel like cooking for the family. If the wife simply needs an evening away, the husband should be able to fend for himself (and the kids, if there are any!). There might also be times when the husband would want to do something special for his wife, and cooking her a special meal could definitely be a great way to do that! I know men who can do little more than pour a bowl of cereal, and they usually expect their wives to do that for them too...I guess I wouldn't be a good wife to someone like that, because that bowl of cereal would end up dumped on top of his head... :angel: Post Reply
