Myself, it's difficult to say. But I do know that you can't just sit at home and do nothing and expect that special person to just suddenly show up on your doorstep (unless she/he works for the postal service or something) Post Reply

Miss_Wendy View Profile History	When love finds you Posted : 24 May, 2011 10:43 PM �Sometimes, when you stop looking, love finds you.� For me, personally, I don�t necessarily think this means to stop looking for love altogether, as in hanging up our hats on the peg of loneliness and spinster life. Rather, I take it to mean that we should not be making it our number one priority to search for that one who will complete us and give us all of the happiness we�ve been lacking. Mayhap it signifies that when we stop depending on another person to make us happy and are able to find true happiness all on our own is when it will come our way. In all honesty, there is no one person who can be solely responsible for our happiness. Love is not truly that mushy gushy stuff that Hollywood feeds us; it�s tough. We are not going to always be happy with our partners, so searching for happiness in the form of another person sets us up for failure from the get-go. But there is Someone in whom we may find our true happiness and love in and I think that you who exactly Whom it is that I mean. Perhaps God wants us to find our true happiness in Him. He is the one we need to make us whole. To complete us. To give us true happiness. When we realize that our One True Love is Jesus and make Him our center, maybe then He will send our specially designed, just for us, spouse. I guess that, for my own personal life, I would rephrase this charming age-old quote to say, �Sometimes, when you stop looking for someone else to make you happy, you will find True Happiness.� Post Reply
