I have dated both. I dont think age is the most important thing.. Spiritual, intellectual, emotional and of course physical chemistry have to be there. When I was in my twenties age was more of a hang up for me, but now not so much. As I get older (and hopefully wiser), I am trying to let God define who my partner may be.

They say that, but if a younger man gives them butterflies in their belly, they will go younger. My last 3 girlfriends were 3 years older, 4 years older, and almost 3 years older, respectively.

Well, at my young-ish age (27 in less than two weeks), I don't think I'd want to go much younger than my own age. The reason is that I want someone who is out of college, or at least has a good steady job. I'm sure that someone who is say, 20-24 could easily fit in that category, but then I'd just feel plain old around him. So I prefer to look in the 25 - 32 age range.

Why only to 32? Well, I'd be ok with someone a little older, but 32 seems to be a practical guideline. That's 5 years older than me, and I don't want someone who's so much older than me that he would be an old man before I'd be an old woman!!! :goofball: (And I certainly don't want someone who's old enough to be my father. That's just gross.)

I've found within 10 years is best, but the younger men very seldom can match me well enough. So I lean towards an older man.

waddup MrLL, to answer your question, i don't want a toddler neither a geriatric:rolleyes: a younger man[ by at most 2yrs] with maturity is fine by me, older men are preferred naturally because it is assumed that they would be more mature but i'm not looking to go out of a 5 yr span in that direction.

I would prefer to date someone around my own age, maybe only a 3 year age difference.

Well now... Ideally IF, that is** IF ** a younger man had all the qualities that would "float my boat!" Yes, YES, YYEESS... a younger man will do!! :yay: My heart is young :bouncy:, and I'd love to have someone old or young who is able to relate to me on my level, and me on his, and we both enjoy being around each other and make each other smile! Of course we said before about chemistry, etc. and that is most important. MrLL thank you for the question! It got me excited and thinking about the possibilities!! ~ GraceMae
