what makes you say "absolutely not?"

Ladies, is there anything that makes you say "Absolutely not?" to a man? Ie smokers, drinkers, I'll start it off myself, to set the bar. I say "absolutely not" if she's white, and more than five years either side of my own age

May I ask, why you have those sorts of restrictions?

For me it's an attitude thing. I may open a can of worms that I'll regret here, but as far as age, well, there comes a point where I feel uncomfortable thinking of getting romantically involved with someone, especially if they're much younger than myself. And as far as the "white" thing, I'll answer that once I make sure this post doesn't get out of control. :glow: Please, if I forget, ask me again

I don't think I understand what you're saying and I apologize. What attitude are you referring to? Why does someone younger make you feel uncomfortable romantically? Why do you ask us questions you won't answer?

I'm very sorry. :) I try very hard not to assume what someone is trying to convey, so I end up asking a lot of questions.

In answer to the age question. All "legality" aside. I would not date an 18-year-old girl. I'm 29, and I think that the disparity in our ages would be too great, and bordering on gross. I also understand that the difference in age matters less, the more years you have under your belt. For instance, I see nothing wrong with a couple that's 45 & 60 years old, as they're both mature adults. Does that help? As far as the white thing, I know it sounds bad, but typically I don't like the way most white women I've met carry themselves. I'm not trying to blast anyone, but in my own personal life, I've never really gotten along that well with many white women. The ones I've known seem to me to be self-involved, and out for their own ends. Whereas most of the non-white women I've met seem quite genuine, and more open and honest. I'm not meaning to be racist or anything like that, but does that answer your question?

Yes, you answered my questions and I thank you. I'd like to apologize for the many "white" women that have offended you, sincerely.

Good luck in your search. You seem like a kind hearted guy.

With love,

T

Good question! I'd like first to comment on your answer to Browneyed, age difference is not so bad, women mature earlier physically & mentally, so it's better for u to have a girl that's younger than u, not so young , though.

10 years younger is not a big gap as u might feel now, u'll be more convinced later, may be on your 30's.

Not getting along well with white women, doesn't really make it a rule that all u might meet, will wind up same way. There is an EXCEPTION to every rule, we can't generalize, and we need to be open to where the Lord leads us.

Aside from that , briefly to answer your original post, if a guy is NOT a believer, has no College degree, more than 15 yrs. older (that's really the maximum) I say "absolutely not" for anything romantic.

* P.S. All what I said is my personal prospective, other women may have a totally different view.

Be blessed,

Phoebe:glow:
