If it's the living room, kitchen, or dining room, I leave the lights on because more than likely someone else is either in there already or heading in there. If it's the bedroom or bathroom, I usually turn off the lights out of habit to save electricity. Post Reply

I got two rooms though with automatic timers where the lights come on and go off a a certain time in the mornings and night. Helps me when I come in after dark, don't have to worry bout fumbling to turn lights on. Yes, my parents discplined me strongly (:stop:) as a child to turn the light out behind me! or else!! That 'crackin' of the whip stayed with me into adulthood! GraceMae Post Reply

Posted : 26 Dec, 2009 05:18 PM I turn them off because my cats havenot had supper at night time.They are waiting for that stupid thief to bite and claw up. :ROFL: Last summer I jumped out of bed because I thought one of my cats was dieing.I ran out into the living room and Casper was growling at the screen window.A neighbors cat was on the porch. All 3 of my cats were in attack mode. Casper was trying to get out of the trailer to attack that other cat.Why do I need lights? My cats will kill any intruder.:boxing::MrT: You ladies should get some real mean cats like me.Then you can sleep with out the lights. One of my cats bit a vet helper.It went down to the bone.Ouch!! So, yes I turn off my lights.I would just roll over inbed if some one broke in.The cats will take care of it.:ROFL: save money turn thoses lights off!!!! Hey the cat in the pic is Casper.He did not bite the vet helper.
