Myself, it's difficult to say. But I do know that you can't just sit at home and do nothing and expect that special person to just suddenly show up on your doorstep (unless she/he works for the postal service or something) Post Reply

But that possibility is no reason to cancel your car insurance policy. Post Reply

You'll never meet anyone if you never leave the house and make some effort, so it seems like if you "stop looking", then love can't possibly find you. As I've gotten older, though, I have come up with an alternative meaning. Perhaps it just means that you might find love in an unexpected way, for an unexpected person, at an unexpected time. Sometimes we "look" so hard that we forget to actually live life. When we go about our business of life and God's work, who knows what might find us! Did that make any sense? Post Reply

And maintain a Christ-like attitude in everything you do...it might be all a person needs to see. It can blind a person to all the red flags in a relationship, it can blind a person to good advice, and it can blind a person to the guidance and whispers of the Holy Spirit. Post Reply

View Profile History	When love finds you Posted : 23 May, 2011 10:04 PM There are times when some people do live the "when I least expected it or when i wasn't looking love found me" then there are people who are like this "I was looking out of expectancy". Me personally, I have gone through stages of my life that I even had theme scriptures (silly to some perhaps), in my early years I had the "wait on the Lord" as my theme because I wasn't in no hurry to have a relationship, and I wasn't ready for one as I was immature in that area. Then after I grew a little bit (spiritually/emotionally) I started to desire having a relationship more and more! So my theme scrip for that era was "The violent take it by force" ;) yup you heard me. Or in Lilo's translation it was "The single suffereth loneliness and the lonely take their spouse by force" mmm... glory. Lol! Now, as a person truly ready for marriage to the point of needing my beloved, my theme scrip has turned into where in Song of Solomon pretty much says "I looked for my beloved but could not find him... are you my beloved?". Why I say all this? I have no idea. lol kidding! No what I mean is what I think about that saying "when I least expected it love found me (when I wasn't looking)". I don't think thats for everyone, because some people do have to look EXPECTING to find their beloved. But I dunno... thats just my thoughts. :) Post Reply

Some people are so focused on finding love that they just kind of give off those "desperate vibes" and drive people away. However, if they stop looking, they actually get a chance to enjoy their lives and live a life that someone else is going to want to be a part of. When they do, people are going to be attracted to that, and it creates a much healthier environment for forming a relationship. Post Reply
