Admin	So... Posted : 9 May, 2011 05:55 AM After much thought I have decided to take a break from this site and all other social networks, at least until I go back home at the end of June. I have a lot of free time... my schedule is just one Open English class M-F, 5 to 7pm (and the students don't even care about that class), and I spend much of my free time on the computer because I just don't know what else to do. Most days I am miserable and incredibly lonely (most of my friends are the Chinese students and most of them have class from 8am to 9:30pm everyday), and I just feel like I am looking in all the wrong places for companionship. The few really good days I have had this semester have been the days where I spent minimal time at the computer. I am going to find more useful ways to spend my huge amounts of free time, even if it means doing things alone! TTFN... Ta Ta For Now! Post Reply

You've come across as being a very genuine young woman to me as well as being transparent in your willingness to share your feelings and thoughts. I'm sorry that your online experiences haven't been more uplifting. My personal response to loneliness has been to turn to God all the more by filling my spare time with Him. I'd like to encourage you to do the same (not that you're not doing that already). I might not be in a relationship with a person, but I've definitely had time to pursue Christ, and He's never disappointed me or left me alone as many people have in my life :) I think that Christ in you has much to offer - independently of anyone or anything else.
